Northern Beaches Council International Women's Day 2017 Charity Breakfast

Loraine and Suzy were honoured to attend the charity breakfast this morning at Manly Golf Club to celebrate International Women's Day. A donation to Big River Impact Foundation was included in the ticket price. You can read more about it here

This year the theme was Be Bold for Change, with guest speaker, Josephine Cashman, a Worimi woman from New South Wales.

A lawyer, businesswoman and social entrepreneur, Josephine has more than 18 years of experience working on projects to create social and economic empowerment with Indigenous communities.

Josephine recently spoke at a special session on violence against Indigenous women and children at the United Nation's full Human Rights Council in Geneva.
